Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
Your Role
Provide technical logistic assessment, codification and cataloguing of all items required by the program.
Champion interpreting technical reports and informing key stakeholders such as Supply Chain and Engineering.
Complete through investigations of Triton parts, providing reports and loading into CAMM2
Review defect reports and approve fixes.
Prepare and submit documentation to the National Codification Bureau for codifying and cataloguing stock items.
Create and maintain master part records in MILLIS to ensure accurate data.
Assess obsolescence and reliability reports, recommending updates to cataloguing and codification.
Identify additional improvement opportunities and manage productivity and quality improvement campaigns.
Prepare and submit Joint Deficiency Reporting System and Publication Improvement Report and reply to vendors as required to correct or improve minor documentation errors found.
• Prepare and submit Illustrated Parts Breakdown changes to the Technical Publications team.
About You
A technical background in aviation or engineering is advantageous
MILLIS experience is essential
Strong knowledge of Defence inventory management policies and ESCM
Experience in master data management within a maintenance, repair, and overhaul environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong team player, with ability to work as part of a larger group and independently
Ability to obtain an NV1 AGSVA clearance.
