The Digital Thread - Manufacturing & Operations Solutions Organization within Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) is looking for a Project Manager/Integrated Product Leader to oversee the convergence design, deployment and onboarding of our OT (Operations Technology) Network solution for manufacturing sites across the enterprise. This network technology enables manufacturing to rapidly and securely network factory equipment to then enable access to manufacturing data and support data driven decision making. The person will manage an internal investment with associated resources to first converge and enhance OT Network designs and then deploy and extend the network capability across all sector manufacturing.

They will coordinate closely with CIDO, sector manufacturing leadership and subject matter experts across the corporation to ensure effective execution of the investment activities and to ensure the team remains aligned this enabling capability and adjacent solutions.
This position can be virtual/work from home but requires you to be within commuting distance to Linthicum MD, Redondo Beach, CA or Rolling Meadows, IL. There will be periodic on-site travel (25%) to Northrop Grumman locations required.
Core Responsibilities:
Design/Development and convergence of the Enterprise OT Network
• Provide product/subsystem design and convergence oversight for solution teams products.
• Ensure technical quality, performance, cost, schedule, and risk and opportunity for product team content on the program.
• Be responsible for the CAM activities.
• Manage and conduct to closure subsystem and lower technical reviews.
• Preparing status reports and communicating status of projects to management, identifying risks and mitigation activities to meet expected results and schedule.
• Provide configuration management oversight for their product team products.
• Interface with GSC for management of Purchase Orders and Suppliers within the scope of their product team.
• Coordinate with portfolio management and SEIT Lead to integrate their product team scope into the program work breakdown structure, integrated master plan, and/or IMS.
• Collect and report metrics within the scope of their product.
• In coordination with the SEIT Lead and Chief Engineer, ensure implementation of systems engineering practices within the product team.
• Work with functional management (IT, OT, Cyber) to ensure use and application of standardized tools and development environments, as applicable to product scope.
Deployment/Onboarding
• Develop and maintain site onboarding roadmap and coordination of enterprise, sector and site budgets for OT networks
• Develop and maintain process onboarding and project management tools to successfully onboard sites
• Develop and maintain relationships and communications to various site manufacturing leadership and process owners on OT Network value.
• In coordination with OT management, Enterprise Networks, and Local IT to ensure their teams are appropriately staffed with qualified personnel.
• Coordination and prioritization of OT Network Site onboarding. Oversee OT Onboarding processes, OT Network Deployment, and Manufacturing Equipment onboarding to the network.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must have:
• Bachelor's degree in a related STEM/IT/OT discipline and 14 years of progressive professional experience; 12 years of relevant experience with a master's degree in a related STEM/IT/OT discipline. 9 years with PhD.
• Prior Program/Project management experience.
• Prior experience managing a portfolio of diverse and complex IT projects.
• Prior experience working OT/Manufacturing networks
• Prior experience interfacing with manufacturing/shop floor environments, processes/equipment, and personnel
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
• Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify issues, solutions, and drive issues rapidly to closure.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and collaborate with executive leadership.
• Previous experience managing budgets and partnering with customers to prioritize support to business priorities and objectives.
• Experience with Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) Network Technology and/or other OT Networks
• Experience with the deployment of IOT platforms
• PMP Certification
Salary Range: *$163,200 - $244,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
