You will be responsible for:

Ensuring that the Space Vehicles being design and built by NG contribute to the larger mission success
Supporting the Chief Engineer in ensuring that the program is practicing all engineering functions in accordance with customer and internal NG standards
Assisting with Business development / Capture / Proposals for future missions within the same family of products
Educating program technical and program leadership, officers and operators on a typical roadmap for system integration
Interfacing and driving engagement directly with key external stakeholders to ensure mission success
Laying out a regular cadence of stakeholder interaction and speaking for NG position on technical topics within your area of responsibility (AOR)
Basic Qualifications:

13 Years with Bachelors degree in a technical field; 11 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.
Must have U.S. Citizenship with active or current TS/SCI clearance at time of application
Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices
Must have ability to lead multi-disciplinary team
Must have experience with space system integration with external interfaces including ground segment and host vehicles as well as on orbit operations
Must be self-directed and able to envision the end state of the mission system and take initiative to drive the appropriate development to closure (whether that be currently in scope work or getting the necessary work in scope)
Must be able to give executive briefings that communicate complex technical concepts to an audience of non-subject matter experts with varying levels of space domain experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Current Access to the program
Understanding of the space security domain
Experience in RPO mission design, space vehicle development and ground software development
* Experience with space system developmental test and evaluation

Salary Range: $188,200.00 - $282,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
