Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is looking for you to join our team as a
Senior Principal User Applications Liaison. This is a full-time telework position. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.
What You'll Get to Do
The
Senior Principal User Applications Liaison will provide systems--related support to the Material Accounting organization which encompasses Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD). Candidate will also provide production support across other modules that the team supports. (Project Systems and Intracompany Work Orders (IWOs).
Roles and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Provide support to functional users of 1ERP for material accounting which encompasses MRP and GPD.
* Provide support to trace material movements including parts and dollars.
* Provide reporting support to users including Project Analysis / Compare Evaluation (PACE) and Material Estimate at Complete (MEAC).
* Support internal and external audits.
* Participate in and/or lead various functional User Groups and Change Control Boards
* Identify and troubleshoot software processing and reporting issues; identifying potential process/system enhancements
* Test software enhancements/patches prior to their introduction into the production environment; developing, maintaining and delivering training to the Business Management community
* Define/refine and document business processes in response to changes.
* Backup whole production support team with customer support in other modules, as needed.
* Participate in non-recurring projects representing the interest of the Material Accounting organization within the non-recurring project (i.e. 1ERP).
Note: Travel requirements in support of non-recurring projects may vary depending on project needs.
The selected candidate will exhibit strong organizational and communication skills and be able to find creative and efficient solutions to the business challenges of a diverse Mission Systems Sector and customer base. The successful candidate will also be a conduit between Program Cost Analysts, Business Management, Contracts, Cost Accounting, other functional areas, other Sector Material Accounting organizations, and Enterprise Services.
This position may be staffed in any CONUS state location
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 6 years of related experience.
* Experience with material accounting model which encompasses MRP and GPD (Grouping, pegging and distribution) or similar tool
* Advanced Microsoft suite skills, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience with general corporate business processes and practices.
* Experience advising and interacting with senior management
* Experience applying regulatory compliance and internal controls.
* Effective business writing and presentation skills
* Demonstrated ability to plan and carry out complex projects across multiple functions.
* Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
* US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience tracking material movements and PACE and MEAC reporting, or similar.
* Experience executing complex strategic projects and presenting results for data calls and audits.
* Broad understanding of the SAP S/4 model, interrelationships between contracts, billing and other business processes
* Experience partnering with multiple functional organizations.
* Project Systems (PS) module and/or Project Setup processes knowledge

Salary Range: $109,900 - $164,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
