Essential Functions:

Perform as Sr Principal Project Management overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing Mission Survivability projects

Serves as the liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management

Provides B-2 aircraft avionics technical support and Subject Matter Expert (SME) training to personnel on systems and processes affecting survivability functions in operations and maintenance activities

Coordinates with Program Offices and appropriate agencies during development and testing of capabilities to ensure operational needs are met

Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with projects managers, line managers, and clients

Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts

Performs normal day shift operations with the ability to adapt to unique situations outside normal duty hours

Able to perform Courier duty travel as required

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience or an Associates degree in the Avionics Maintenance Field in lieu of a 4 year degree

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to communicate effectively to team members both verbally and in writing.

Experience with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point

Experience in one or more of the following: Asset Tracking, Calibration, Quality Assurance, Material Management, Performing Audits

Ability to acquire and maintain a flightline driver's license

Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active TS Clearance and have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI with B-2 Program Access Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Experience contacting vendors to obtain quotes and resolve technical issues

Can work independently with minimal oversight

Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

Basic understanding of security practices pertaining to transfer and movement of classified assets

Salary Range: $92,900.00 - $139,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
