Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Contracts Administrator (Level 4) to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Defense Systems Sector Contracts Organization. This position will be located on site in Middle River, MD, full-time onsite.
The Contracts Professional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Knowledge in understanding and interpreting the FAR/DFARs and other U.S. Federal Government contract regulations along with experience in commercial contracting
Independently develop and collaborate with others as needed, to provide contract and procedure guidance
Primary interface for internal audit and self-assessment development and reporting
Ability to effectively work with the management of other organizations (program management, subcontracts, business management, and supply chain management) as well as customer representatives
Support sector level objectives, special projects, sector communications, and developing positive relationships at all levels
Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior level internal & external customers
Coordinating, administrating, proposing, and negotiating, standard and non-standard contracts and agreements supporting various domestic and international customers / requirements, including DoD and other entities as required
Prepare weekly and monthly reports and maintenance of contractual databases
Duties may also include the preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, and various types of memoranda as well as interface with internal functional and program organizations

Advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintain the historical contractual information
Ability to work independently and make decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholder and subject matter experts
Senior Principal Contract Administrator Basic Qualifications (Level 4):

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 8 years in Contracts, Subcontracts, or Procurement Administration, or related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 6 years in Contracts, Subcontracts, or Procurement Administration, or related professional experience: In lieu of degree High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge and understanding of pricing principles and FAR/DFARS as well as associated Federal Contracting regulations
6 years of relevant experience in DOD contracting
Able to support full-time onsite in Middle River, MD
Ability to travel to customer sites
Preferred Qualifications:

M.B.A. or J.D. or relevant graduate degree
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures
NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM)
Mentoring or leadership experience
Salary Range: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
