Software Development Analyst with a strong focus on workflow process development to join our innovative IT Service Management development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that optimize our Enterprise business processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into efficient and effective ServiceNow solutions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong customer service skills for interfacing with stakeholders, assisting in refining requirements to meet business needs, designing solutions, developing and implementing features. They should be adaptable and capable of working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. This role will involve coordinating with service and process workflow owners across a wide variety of services to determine requirements, identify opportunities for automated solutions, and drive best practices. You will need to be a self-starter, working in an agile environment focusing on innovative IT Service Delivery. The deliverables produced in this role will enable self-service solutions aligned with the company's strategic goals, resulting in customer satisfaction as well as time and cost savings. Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices and the IT Service Management module in ServiceNow is essential.
This position will be virtual remote and can be performed anywhere within the continental United States. Teleworking arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Design, develop, and implement robust ServiceNow workflows to streamline Enterprise business processes.

* Configure and optimize ServiceNow, focusing on workflow automation.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for workflow processes.

* Develop and maintain technical support documentation for ServiceNow workflows and processes.

* Ensure data integrity and system security within the ServiceNow environment.

* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for workflow-related issues in ServiceNow.

* Implement best practices for ServiceNow workflow development and process improvement.

* Collaborate on integrations with various enterprise systems to enhance workflow functionality.

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 2 years of relevant experience.

* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Experience with HTML and JavaScript.

* Strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

* Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple changing priorities.

* Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies, including defining and estimating user stories.

* A strong commitment to working cooperatively in a team environment.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Experience in release, unit, and user acceptance testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in ServiceNow development with a focus on workflow process development.

* Strong understanding of ITIL IT Service Management processes and best practices.

* Experience working with internal and external customers.

* Proficiency in JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.

* Experience with REST and SOAP APIs for third-party integrations.

* ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.

* Experience with Automated Testing Framework (ATF) and developing test scripts.

* Agile experience, including roles such as Scrum Master and Product Owner, is a plus.

* Experience in Program Increment (PI) planning, including defining PI Objectives as part of an Agile team.

* Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Salary Range: $81,300 - $121,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
