Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) System Interfaces Manager 3 in support of the Sentinel weapon system program. This highly visible leadership role will be located in Roy UT and will support the Air Force's development, production and deployment of the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) ground and airborne launch control systems, launch facilities, launch control centers, and associated infrastructure. What You'll Get To Do:
In this role, you will lead a team of 20-25 systems engineers conducting weapon system design integration, including internal and external interfaces, in support of the Sentinel weapon system. This is a multifaceted role, with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
• Interfaces senior technical authority: provide leadership, in coordination with functional and section managers, for all team processes; serve as the senior Interfaces technical authority; provide oversight of technical product delivery.
• Statement of work and task assignments: ensure team members have sufficient scope and depth of work; coordinate assignments with two section managers, functional department manager, and section leads; provide staffing and resources planning, training, and overall engagement for the interfaces teams to meet program needs.
• Work package lead (WPL): meet direct and indirect budget targets; balance resources among sections, teams and programs; verify personnel follow proper network charging practices.
• Lead team members: in close coordination with section and department managers, evaluate team member performance (including engagement strategies for higher performers and corrective actions for lower performers); provide feedback for performance evaluations; provide feedback for compensation processes; develop, mentor, and guide employee growth.
• Coordinate with Sentinel leadership: interpret higher level guidance for implementation within the organization; ensure board processes are reviewed, interpreted, developed, and executed to meet program needs; provide feedback and senior manager-level insight to directors and vice presidents, if/when asked, on policy, procedure, and/or implementation of guidance as applicable to the Interfaces teams' integration efforts.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 8 years of related experience
• Minimum of three (3) years in a formal management position.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• Master's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 10 years' engineering experience
• Current Special Access Program (SAP) approval
• 3+ years' experience with ICBM (MMIII and/or Sentinel) weapon systems
• 2+ years' functional management experience
• 2+ years' experience as a team lead or product lead
• Earned Value Management Experience
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, DOORS, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE / Cameo), Siemens NX
Salary Range: $161,500 - $242,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
