What You
'll Get To Do:

Define test requirements and test objectives, using Systems Engineering principles
Lead the team in the development of integration and test documentation (test plans, test procedures and test reports)
Lead the team to prepare for and execute Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs)
Lead the execution of the integration, test, and assembly of the AVE in preparation for developmental flight testing
Integrate hardware from sub-system teams, interface with other elements teams, and the system and segment level teams
Work with management to establish test schedules and resource management framework for execution of tests
Architect, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment
Lead selection and adoption of digital tools for test documentation and execution
Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support of integration and test activities
Interface with other internal engineering groups to develop and improve internal processes and procedures
Lead and participate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers (internal/external)
Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component
Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements
Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
Direct Test Execution activities
Travel: May be required to travel up to 20% of the time. Majority of travel is to Promontory, Utah

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

ll Bring These Qualifications:

12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 10 years with a Masters; 8 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
Working knowledge of system integration (HW and SW) and test principles
Experience leading a test team through execution of a test campaign (plans, procedures, reviews).
Experience defining test objectives based on test requirements, VRCM and interface and specification documentation.
Experience with data collection/instrumentation methods.
Experience in troubleshooting anomalous hardware and software.
Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout).
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
Works well in a team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering
Experience with Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML
Proficiency in DOORS and Cameo
Experience working with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Confluence, JIRA)
Tactical or Strategic Missile experience
Test Director or Test Conductor experience in DOD our aerospace fields
Demonstrated ability to lead/manage a project including task development, scheduling, tracking, reporting status
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proven capable of being organized, efficient, and handling multiple tasks while paying attention to detail

Salary Range: $134,300.00 - $201,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
