Principal / Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do:
Cyber test planning, procedure development and test execution/reporting. Work closely with customer test counterparts to assure accurate test planning to meet program objectives. Work with Integrated Product Team to ensure comprehensive test solutions.
Tasks include:
• Vulnerability assessment and threat mitigation
• Network administration & security, Information Assurance
• Streamlining and improving processes and implementing reliable solutions
• Interfacing with cross-functional teams
• Secure networks, firewalls, intrusion detection, and penetration testing
• Work with penetration test teams to develop test plans and procedures

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Principal Cyber Systems Engineer:

5 years of relevant experience in Cyber, Systems, Software, or Hardware engineering with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field; 3 years with a Masters; 0 years with a PhD

Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer:

9 years of relevant experience in Cyber, Systems, Software, or Hardware engineering with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field; 7 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD

Required for both levels:

US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

* Prior experience in test planning or execution

* Prior experience on a cyber test team or performing penetration testing.

* Prior experience working with, or domain knowledge, in cybersecurity industry.

* Must have at minimum a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+CE) or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Penetration testing certifications such as OSCP, GPEN.

* Experience with Verification and Validation (V&V) testing of requirements.

* Experience creating cyber test cases and test plans based off of high level system capabilities.

* Experience of testing Operational Technology (OT) to include SCADA protocols and control systems.

* Experience performing weapon system attack surface analysis or performing cyber table top exercises.

* Have a full understanding of routing, switching, server operating systems, firewalls, wireless controllers, DNS, virtual machines and software applications.

* Experience writing scripts (e.g. Batch, Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate cyber tests.

* CISSP or CISSP-ISSEP.

* Experience with vulnerability and compliance scanners.

Salary Range: $101,900 - $152,900
Salary Range 2: *$126,400 - $189,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
