This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do:

Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management
Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management
Integration of IP based devices into networks architecture. Will also support configuration, troubleshooting of devices / network
Work within and across teams to support and coordinate daily integration activities
Execute root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues
Coordinate integrated testing activities.
Oversee test activities in support or requirement verification and validation.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Principal Engineer Systems Test

5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 3 years with a Masters; 1 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3 years of hands on engineering or administration experience for Cisco/Juniper networks, RHEL, or Windows OS
3 years of experience leading, planning and executing hardware/software product integration, documenting discrepancies, and analyzing mission performance.
2 years of experience utilizing sensors, telemetry, data logging systems, and real time monitoring tools.
3 years of experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment
3 years of experience working with lab environments/processes (Foreign Object Elimination, Electro-Static Discharge, Configuration Management)
Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Test

8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
5 years of hands on engineering or administration experience for Cisco/Juniper networks, RHEL, or Windows OS
5 years of experience leading, planning and executing hardware/software product integration, documenting discrepancies, and analyzing mission performance.
3 years of experience utilizing sensors, telemetry, data logging systems, and real time monitoring tools.
5 years of experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment
5 years of experience working with lab environments/processes (Foreign Object Elimination, Electro-Static Discharge, Configuration Management)
Required for both levels

US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Current DoD 8570" IAT Level II Certification (such as CompTIA Security+ CE)
Understanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
Extensive experience in all phases of the hardware life-cycle, including Hardware design and development, qualification testing, and test support.
An understanding of test fixtures and cabling to support interface design.
Ability to negotiate with customers, suppliers, and NGC personnel to support CONOPS definition as well as test.
Experience with testing of circuit cards, cabling or other electromechanical devices.
Experience working in lab, ground test, or flight test environments, operating test equipment, and following structured test processes.
Current DoD 8570" IAT Level III Certification
Bachelors in a STEM related field

Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00Salary Range 2: $107,800.00 - $161,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
