Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a
Staff Systems Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:

Define and/ or refine architecture scope of work for Support and Training teams
* Coordinate across Sentinel program system designers, systems engineers, logistics engineers, and customers to define Maintenance Operational Concepts for the weapon system
* Support Equipment Architecture Model and Training Systems Architecture Model Product Owner
* Act as technical review authority for architecture content within Support and Training Segment at Support Engineering Review Board
* Direct efforts and priorities of a team ~10 support architects and ~5 training architects
* S&T Architecture board member on the Digital Engineering Review Board (DERB), responsible for model content and defining overarching program process and style guides for MBSE
* Act as a liaison and point of contact to the customer, ensuring alignment on technical direction and status of architecture related work
* Ensure full definition of Support and Training equipment in the architecture models including structural, behavioral, and interface definition with traceability to related ASoTs
* Collect status and report team progress to upper management
* Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules
* Run the Support and Training Architecture Working Group to collaborate across segment model users
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline with 12 years of related experience; 10 years with a Masters; 8 years with a PhD.
* US Citizenship with an
active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
* 2 years of ICBM experience
* 1 year of experience leading a team or driving performance against schedule
* 2 years of experience using MBSE (using SysML, DoDAF, or UAFP in Cameo or Rhapsody)
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in STEM discipline
* Experience with Department of Defense maintenance and training operations
* Experience with Cameo model integration
* Experience with functional decomposition, interface definition, and use case definition
* Experience working with DoD government/military personnel
* Experience in People and Technical Leadership roles
* Experience with DOORS
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
* Experience guiding Agile scrum teams
* Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (i.e., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: *$147,700 - $221,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
