C2 Integration Test Manager 2. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.

What You'll Get To Do:
Technical Leadership:

Provide technical oversight for test engineering activities performed by the team.

* Candidate will lead a team that implements many technologies and needs diverse engineering experiences.

* Candidate will be a thought leader of systems thinking and test engineering for both their team and the organization.

* Perform as a manager to support programs and new business efforts. These tasks will include test plans, requirements development, and integration and test strategies. Embedded test sub-disciplines include evaluation of circuit card design, firmware (VHDL) design, mechanical design and mechanical analysis.

* Responsible for WBS elements assigned to the C2 Test Team.

* Expected to oversee assigned elements using Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

* Engage and collaborate with program and functional organizations to obtain, understand, and interpret program resource needs to effectively meet program milestones.

* Manage and maintain the day-to-day interfaces and communications between Program Management, Engineering Functionals, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain.

People Leadership:

Provide technical oversight and mentorship to staff to ensure engineering projects in portfolio meet performance objectives

* Responsible for direct functional management of staff and providing direction to the staff

* Support organizational engineering initiatives

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:

6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 4 years with a Masters; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

* Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

* At least 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.

* At least 1 year of experience in developing system integration and test planning, procedure development, execution, and test reporting

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

* An active Sentinel SAP

* Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles

* 3 years of formal management experience to include performance management for direct reports.

* 5 years of experience leading a team, projects, and processes; ability to lead and motivate others to mentor and ensure others meet complex objectives.

* At least 1 year of experience with software qualification testing

* Experience navigating specifications and requirements in DOORS

* Familiarity with Atlassian applications JIRA and Confluence

* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

* At least 1 year of experience with software integration and verification testing.

* Thorough understanding of Northrop Grumman test processes and tools

* Experience with wide range of embedded devices, such as Micro-controllers, FPGAs, and CPLDs.

* Experience with Mil-Std-461 and 810 testing

* Experience with communication interfaces and protocols such as USB, Ethernet, TIA/EIA-232 / 422 / 485, I2c, SPI, UART, MIL-STD-1553 and/or SpaceWire

* Experience with TeamCenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications

* Proficiency in one or more of the following: FPGA design, AC/DC circuit design, power design, mixed-signal design, circuit simulation and test, CCA design and analysis, and EMI/EMC design; OR Proficiency in mechanical design CAD tools such as Creo, NX and/or SolidWorks

* Experience with engineering lifecycle such as: specifications, architecture, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance.

* Experience applying systems thinking and systems engineering best practices to engineering development programs.

Salary Range: *$122,800 - $184,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
