Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Software Development Analyst candidate for a fully remote role supporting visualization and application development.

This position will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. This role will be involved in the planning of system and development deployment, as well as be responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Our software development analyst will evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system as well as document testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions and Power BI reports primarily for SAP related solution
* Design, develop, and customize SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and web parts to meet project requirements
* Develop and implement custom SharePoint solutions using technologies such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell
* Create and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements and data analysis
* Integrate Power BI reports with SharePoint Online to provide interactive data visualization within SharePoint sites
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions that meet business needs
* Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of SharePoint and Power BI solutions
* Maintain proficiency with the latest SharePoint and Power BI features, best practices, and trends
* Interact with customers and internal partners through face to face/ virtual meetings, phone calls, emails and other media
Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will be able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
Basic Qualifications

BS Degree and 9 years of industry experience is required for this role. (An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.)
* Experience with analyzing business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs
* Experience in developing, publishing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards
* Experience with SharePoint integration with Power BI and other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, Excel)
* Proficient in R and DAX coding.
* Proficient in developing custom solutions for SharePoint using technologies such as SPFx, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell
* Ability to leverage database systems including SAP, Oracle, Costpoint, data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial, and operational analysis and/or reporting
Preferred Qualifications

Extensive knowledge with SAP configuration and business processes
* Experience performing PowerBI system administration tasks, migrations, and other M365 technical tasks within the M365 environment
* Experience with cross-functional teams.
* Experience with data and data analysis (including refining data in excel, data collection, and data interpretation)
* Experience developing highly effective materials and work products (PPT decks, Power BI dashboards, detailed reports, etc.)
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and Power BI best practices
Salary Range: $121,000 - $181,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
