This position will be located in Linthicum, MD and responsible for managing our security operations team which includes physical security, asset protection and monitoring services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manages the teams responsible for providing all aspects of physical security to our BWI locations which include alarms, access control, video surveillance, lock & key, visitor control, alarm monitoring/response, asset protection and emergency response
* Oversees projects and tasks assigned to the organizational group
* Develops and manages business plans to deliver services within established budgets
* Partners with program security, facilities, infrastructure, IT, environmental health & safety, risk management along with other internal functions to achieve operational goals
* Develops strategic partnerships with external suppliers to address service requirements
* Frequent contact with internal and external personnel at various management levels concerning operations, scheduling or specific phases of projects or contracts
* Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal/external representatives concerning specifics operations
* Studies and implements security regulations that apply to company operations
* Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
* Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures
* Provides advanced direction on all security operations matters while ensuring compliance with policies, standards and codes
* Conducts security briefings and security audits/surveys and risk assessments
* Investigates security matters and prepares reports specifying correction actions
* Builds and maintains relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and emergency services
This position will be1st shift, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Basic Qualifications:
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
* Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience or Master's Degree and 6+ years of experience or High School Diploma and 12+ years of experience managing physical security teams and systems.
* Minimum of 5 years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience.
* Vendor management experience focused on contract and physical security.
* Ability to analyze security requirements against supplier responses.
* Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects within critical deadlines.
* Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Top Secret Clearance
* Experience including identification, analysis and resolution on physical security related matters
* Project management experience
* Experience managing Lenel, Milestone, Digital Monitoring Products, Underwriters Laboratories 2050
* Knowledge and familiarity with the physical security requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as DoD Manuals, and other US Government security manuals.
* Strong working knowledge of office automation and proficiency with Microsoft Office/M365, including, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint
* Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
* Ability to handle competing demands and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Salary Range: $134,100 - $201,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
