This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division.

What You Will Do

Approaching competitive and non-competitive sourcing in request for quotations
* Optimizing volume pricing through bid package strategies
* Evaluating supplier proposals and placing compliant purchase orders
* Extracting, monitoring, analyzing, and validating data information from multiple sources
* Developing engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution
* Making sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Basic Qualifications
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3
Basic Qualifications for a Level 2

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/project management, business management, or information systems; or Master's degree with 0 years of experience; 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
* Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
* Proficiency in MS Office suite
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/project management, business management, or information systems; or Master's degree with 3 years of experience, 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
* Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
* Proficiency in MS Office suite
Preferred Qualifications

Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
* Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
* Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
Salary Range: $56,600 - $85,000
Salary Range 2: $69,600 - $104,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
