SDS Logistics Operations & Integration Manager 2. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division.

What You Will Do
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Lead a team of project management professionals as the functional manager supporting the SDS Logistics organization.
Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Improve operational efficiency of systems, processes and policies in support of the organization's mission across all areas of the organization.

* Lead regular meetings with the team to discuss issues, concerns, and resolution.

* Drive cadences across the team for key deliverables including weekly status reports and communications.

* Manage and set priorities for the day-to-day and strategic operations, including staffing, engagement, budgeting, and planning.

* Facilitate effective staff meetings with focused agendas, calendar reviews, task tracking, and appropriate analytics.

* Analyze and make recommendations around business challenges based on data and metrics.

* Engage with all employees up through executive leaders to understand requirements and expectations and inspire a retentive team culture.

* Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.

* Manage execution across the team including calendar integration, task tracking, customer engagement coordination, and internal deliverables.

* Serve as the focal point for communication, planning and collaboration for internal Logistics activities.

* Ensure strong collaboration across the entire division through effective coordination inside Logistics and with other division teams.

* Oversee execution of key strategic projects and deliverables, engaging all relevant stakeholders to ensure success - establishing needed partnerships, developing program plans, and driving accountability for performance.

* Integrate metrics, develop, and refine dashboards, leverage and embrace digital transformation opportunities to streamline procedures and processes.

* Prepare leadership for meetings and events with agenda review, data collection, talking points, presentation materials, and logistical support.

* Provide oversight and have CAM responsibility for the logistics organization's cost accounts. Ensure the team is working to current budget and schedule, communicate and report status of required tasks and conduct formal cost and schedule variance analysis.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience, or master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree

* At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule

* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an U.S. Government DoD Secret Security Clearance with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

* 1 year of experience building, maintaining, and executing schedules

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Master's in Business or technical field

* 1 year of experience of EVMS preferred

* 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, transportation and/or property management functions

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

* Current and active secret or top secret clearance

* 3 - 5 years of management experience

* Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems

* Strong Scheduling and Analytical skills

* PMP Certification

Salary Range: $108,400 - $162,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
