Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring that flight hardware leads to the successful completion of missions while meeting or exceeding design requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure that the design process & design criteria/requirements are being followed for NG Space Systems design.
• Ensure design criteria, requirements, and verification approaches for heritage and new programs
• Lead improvements to component and Spacecraft design for reliability growth
• Review proposed changes to hardware to ensure compliance with reliability requirements
• Develop/use specialized analysis tools for reliability engineering processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of professional experience in an engineering role or a Master's degree in an engineering discipline
* 2 years or more reliability experience
* Experience with aircraft, launch vehicles, spacecraft, or other aerospace systems
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience with system design, analysis, testing, and fabrication for use in high-performance or safety critical applications
* Scripting and data analysis experience using Visual Basic, Matlab, Python and Excel
* Windchill Risk and Reliability Software, SAPHIRE, CAFTA, Reliasoft

Salary Range: *$107,300 - $160,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
