Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is currently seeking a Quality Manager 2 to join our Quality Team located at our Baltimore Logistics Center in Baltimore, MD.
You will lead a high performing Quality team covering Product Inspectors, Receiving Inspection, Analyst, and Quality Engineers. You will be responsible for executing, monitoring and reporting on the health of programs and quality of products and services.
What You'll Get to Do:
Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment
Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications
Audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements
Present high-level data and analysis up to executive level
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant work experience in a Manufacturing environment, Master's degree with 6 years of relevant work experience a Manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of engineering statistics and data
Leadership and experience with direct reports in a manufacturing team environment
Prior experience presenting high-level data and analysis to program/executive level
Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System certification process
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to perform quality related data analysis
Strong background in Audits
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
Experience in Supplier Quality
Demonstrated experience in inspecting products and structures (CMM)
Prior Factory Quality experience

Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
