This leadership role is located in Palmdale, CA.

In this role, the selected candidate will have a significant background in leading people and teams in high-paced, demanding, technical environment along with excellent communication skills. They must be able to drive team to maintain schedule, cost and program goals while managing a diverse team of technician and engineers.
This position requires significant domestic travel to various location across the continental United States (CONUS) where travel periods may be of significant duration. The selected candidate must be willing to work extended shifts, weekends, and holidays as required to meet program schedule and objectives.
Responsibilities of the role include:

Providing technical products and planning coordination for the Test Integrated Product Team (IPT) as the manager for the system under test.
Filling in as needed as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) overseeing a substantial operating budget producing budgeting forecast and analysis
Lead point of contact (POC) for direction article test team and coordination and oversight all maintenance and test activities for the system under test
Maintaining and specifying test article configurations and coordinating of all test modifications
Ensuring all test article activity authorization, scheduling and assignment of priorities
Coordination with local and remote test facilities / ranges, other Special Projects IPTs, subcontractors, and government agencies
Verification of all documentation for modifications, test activities, and test results performed on the test article
Reporting article status and provide detailed reports as required to senior management
Travel 10% of the time
The selected Candidate must be willing to work various shifts depending on the business needs: 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thurs) 1st shift; 4x10 (Mon-Thurs) 2nd shift; 3x10 schedule Fri, Sat, Sun) 2nd shift; 3x10 schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun) 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's of Science degree in a Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline and 9 years of relevant professional/military experience OR a Master's of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of relevant professional/military experience
Experience in Systems Test Environment
Ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to author technical reports and correspondence
Significant experience in the developmental/operational test maintenance environment
Experience briefing managers, senior program leadership and customers
Previous experience with team engagement
* 7+ years' experience in a leadership/management position
Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
