Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives.
C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
Essential Functions:
This position is for a Systems Analyst on the C2BMC program.
The candidate will be working with the C2BMC RA Fellow, the RA Analysts team and the software development teams; and other tasks assigned by the Regional Applications leadership.
Under senior leader direction, responsible for performing analysis and technical support of systems software products, including problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support.
Interfaces with other product teams to resolve problems and improving overall efficiency of the system.
Selected candidate must be willing and able to frequently switch between high priority tasks and be able to understand very complex algorithms as well as missile defense and radar concepts.
Some travel will be needed between the C2BMC Development Sites (Colorado Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL) as well as to the C2BMC Test Bed (CTB) at Schriever SFB.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related experience, or 1 years of experience with a PhD, or 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree
Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.
Experience with various Systems Engineering tasks and Analysis of complex software.
Experience and knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management.
Demonstrated proficiency using MATLAB, Python, and/or Java to perform data analysis.
Ability to develop short programs to assist with analysis in Java, MATLAB, Python, etc.
Experience presenting analysis results information to software engineers, product owners, other senior program leaders, and customer representatives.
Experience performing analysis on complex algorithms for performance and functionality; presenting analysis results to stakeholders.
Ability to read and understand Java, C, C++, and/or Fortran code.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Agile Environments would be helpful.
Experience with DOORS, JIRA, Confluence, or other project management tools.
Prior C2BMC experience desired.

Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
