Position is located onsite in Iuka, MS.

This individual contributor will work side by side with the Program Manager and Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead on execution, program reporting, monitoring performance, managing risks, addressing issues and other special projects, as needed.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of project and schedules. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with IPT, and line managers.
The candidate should have an understanding of program management, and they should adhere to NG processes and apply them to working internal projects. They should have knowledge of industry practices and standards and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks. This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities:

Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and reporting status
Development, implementation, and maintenance of tools/templates for monitoring project progress
Preparation of status reports and presentations for NGC internal and Customer meetings
Conduct risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization, and ensure compliance to customer and program risk management requirements
Participates in process improvement initiatives
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience or a master's and 3 years or related experience (Note: An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of degree with a high school diploma)
Related experience includes production planning, project management, program management, operations management, engineering or similar
Experience with Microsoft tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams
Experience with risk management & proposal development
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree with 3 years of related experience, or a PhD with 1 year of related experience
2+ years' experience in Project management, Program Integration/Execution
Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar
Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to senior leadership
Defense Industry experience
Experience working in technical engineering environment
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines.
Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders
Experience with interfacing with all levels of employees and leadership
Salary Range: $74,600.00 - $111,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
