If you are a results-oriented aerospace defense professional, we welcome you to join the F/A-18 Post Production team in supporting the domestic and international fleet through CY2040. Assist the Post Production team in responding to customers' request for quotations (RFQ) and help manage a detailed proposal process securing team inputs and delivering a compliant proposal back to customer. This position would be located in El Segundo, CA, but could be performed remotely by the right individual.
Candidate should possess these minimum requirements:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of aerospace defense industry experience demonstrating increased responsibilities

Your ability to obtain and maintain the final adjudicated DoD Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to facilitate and drive status meetings with relevant teams to keep proposals on schedule

Highly skilled in the use of SAP and Content Server in managing proposal inputs

Ability to build and deliver briefs to director level leadership

Candidate preferred requirements:

Have an overall understanding of the F/A-18 proposal process from initial part validation through functional inputs/pricing and finally submittal to the Customer

Proficient in DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) to pull requests for proposal and to submit compliant proposals

Proficient in the use of F/A-18s Hornet View for part configuration validation

Ability to assist contracts manager with proposal submittal packages and awards distribution

Familiar with reviewing F/A-18 Supplier Technical Evaluation Data (STEDs) for completeness and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering to implement updates

Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
