The selected candidate will join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Manufacturing Operations supports multiple programs. The position will be located in Melbourne, FL. We seek Manufacturing Analysts that use a unique skill set and hands-on approach to performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization and liaison. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

In this role you will be responsible for supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. You will perform activities within the operations organization while interfacing with a variety of cross functional areas, including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, facilities engineering and procurement.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as a lead planner for multiple programs for Manufacturing Operations organization.
* Aeronautics Systems Training for Advanced Refinement (ASTAR) Administrator for the Site.
* Effectively interface between various support & management functions within Manufacturing & Program Operations, Global Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Engineering, and Quality organization
* Interface with Quality Analyst teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
* Act as advisor, assisting Manufacturing Operations Management on Continuous Improvement projects
* Lead Innov8 and Site Steering Committee and prepare presentations for executive leadership review
* Provide guidance to multifunctional groups regarding the aspects of manufacturing operations to support programs throughout their life cycle
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve program goals, on-time and within budget project completion
* Liaison between program management, estimating, planning, and production operations
* Showcase a thorough working knowledge of project management tools, processes, and techniques
* Lead the manufacturing Operations organization in Factory Accountability & interface with Sector Compliance FOE 5S Team
* Provides presentation & recognition for FOE/FOD monthly site meeting
* Facilitates Audits for Manufacturing Operations
* Able to swiftly assess project risk management issues and develop resolutions to ensure productivity, quality and customer goals and objectives are met. Manage manufacturing fabrication, assembly, and installation & checkout efforts

This position may be filled at an Principal Manufacturing Analyst or Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualification Principal Manufacturing Analyst:
Bachelors degree and 4 years of related experience in data analysis, manufacturing, engineering, production or inventory control OR a Masters degree and 3 years of related experience in in data analysis, manufacturing, engineering, production or inventory control. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree; Associate's degree and 6 years of experience in data analysis, manufacturing, engineering, production or inventory control
* Experience in manufacturing, audits, working with cross-functional teams to achieve program goals, on-time and within budget project completion
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Must have the ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, Engineering, and Production.
* Ability to work for extended periods of time at a workstation on a computer or similar device for up to 10 hours / duration of shift. Occasional extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.

Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance.
* Bachelors/Masters degree.
* Experience with DCMA 8210, AFI 21-101 compliance with regulatory standards
* Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
* Planning of Operations retrofit/development programs from conception to final delivery
* Proposal activities and development in accordance with RFP specifications
* Experience in Aircraft Manufacturing Operations, Aerospace Project Management, Engineering, Training, and Environmental Health & Safety
* Collaborative experience working with manufacturing shops on fabrication and scheduling of details and assemblies
* Degrees in Industrial Engineering/Management and Environmental Technology
* Experience in Electro-Mechanical background, leadership skills and Project Management focused on proposal and execution of programs.
* Understands Cost Control Accounts/Earned Value concepts & processes to support day to day EVM (Earned Value Management) activities to measure project progress and performance
* Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES), SAP, FAA / DOD Regulations, Military Tech Orders, MIL-SPEC's, MIL-STDS, Policies and Procedures
* Experience as an Integrated Product Team lead and Control Account Manager, responsible for all operational aspects of manufacturing programs from concept to delivery
