In this role you will be performing or assuring quality, drawing interpretations, data trending analysis, and maintainability of program requirements. Additional support will be with visiting various suppliers to ensure hardware and document compliance and inspections. Qualified candidates work as part of a larger team, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, possess the ability to plan and be customer-support focused. Individuals must also have demonstrated ability to evaluate whether documents, instructions and procedures are being followed during execution of all phases of the program and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate may specialize in the areas of design, incoming material and inspections, production control, product evaluation and reliability, auditing, and inventory control as they apply to product or process quality. May also be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies. We are looking for a driven self-starter with high initiative and a motivated self-learner to fill this position. This position is full-time on site. This is a 2nd shift position.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor's of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality and/or manufacturing; OR a minimum of 3 years in quality/manufacturing with Masters degree and a bachelors in a STEM field.
Experience working in a Quality environment
On-site support required (not a remote work position)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with dispositioning hardware for quality related issues in a manufacturing facility.
Active Security Clearance
Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) process.
Experience with SAP
Experience with electrical and/or mechanical design requirements and specifications.
Experience and/or with Earned Value and budgeting.
Experience and/or experience in support of proposals and quoting of Quality hours in bids.
Green/Black Belt Certified in Lean Six-sigma.
Experienced using Microsoft Excel, Minitab, Tableau or equivalent tools for statistical analysis.
SAP experience with Quality Notifications, Production Orders and Purchase Orders.
Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 Quality Management System and AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI).
Experience of Factory processes and procedures across the entire factory.
Experience with inspection tools, methods and techniques used for hardware reviews, validation and inspections.
Experience with data analysis with experience in presenting data.
Salary Range: $95,800.00 - $143,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
