Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Principal Conference Event Representative for our facility located in Melbourne, FL . This person will also travel as needed to support other company locations across the country. This position reports to the manager of employee and executive events, and will be a key team member responsible for the strategic planning and execution of these events.

You'll make a difference by: Shaping events from inception and leading the planning and execution of these employee and executive events. Including bringing together multiple internal stakeholders and external partners.
Developing move and project plans and budgets and tracking these plans and budgets to ensure alignment to targets and event objectives.
Partnering with communications colleagues to create events aligned to business and communication goals.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in project management, conference & event planning, or related OR 3 years of experience with a Master's degree.
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
Valid Driver's License/ US Passport
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization.
Experience developing productive relationships with executives.
Experience in technology, aerospace, defense or other science-related business or government fields.
Demonstrated judgement in decision making and leadership actions with capabilities to drive change through creative methods, ideas & approaches.
Experience with analyzing data and event budgets

Salary Range: $71,600.00 - $107,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
