The Manager Programs 3 - F-35 Integrated Program Team (IPT) leader is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. This position will lead one of the IPT's on the F-35 Center Fuselage Assembly line.
Key responsibilities include:

Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
* Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
* Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
* Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
* Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
* Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
* Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 8 years of experience supporting U.S Government contracts and customers and/or aerospace manufacturing or project management in other related industries OR Master's Degree AND 6 years of experience supporting U.S Government contracts and customers and/or aerospace manufacturing or project management in other related industries.
* Must have 3 years of management or leadership experience within manufacturing
* Must have 3+ years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, or cost account manager.
* Must have the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
* Earned Value Management experience
* Leading Manufacturing teams
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong manufacturing background
Salary Range: $187,000 - $280,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
