Roles and responsibilities of the Program Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
Key contributor to the production and delivery of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye to domestic and international customers.
Leads multifunctional teams in the establishment and execution of milestones tied to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources.
Leads multifunctional teams in the planning, pricing, negotiation, and execution of contracts in direct support of the E-2D production line.
Leads multifunctional teams in the review and approval of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
Possesses an in-depth understanding of earned value management (EVM) and the ability to manage programs by its principles.
Possesses an in-depth understanding of business unit financial objectives and the impact of their managed programs on those objectives.
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below
Related experience includes a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management
Must have prior management experience with programs valued at or greater than $200M
Must have prior leadership experience leading cross-functional teams
Must have Earned Value Management experience
At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with managing proposal efforts
Prior experience with complex production programs
Prior experience with E-2 aircraft build process
Prior experience in managing Navy contracts
Prior experience engaging with international suppliers and customers
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at the senior management level
Master's Degree in a technical discipline
Experience with Risk & Opportunity Management
Current Top Secret (TS/SSBI) clearance with SCI access
Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
