The Payload and Ground Systems organization within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for a Manager Program 1 to support the Ammolite program in the Active RF OU in Linthicum, MD. This program has responsibility for the manufacturing and test of high-volume space payloads.
The ideal candidate will possess strong execution skills and collaborative people skills with the proven ability to work within a technically dynamic, high-growth, and fast-paced operating unit.
The selected candidate will lead and manage the processor production team. This position will report to the AI&T PM for the program and be responsible for:

Cost and schedule of processor build and test deliverables.

Standardization of AI&T training & practices

Leading a team of engineers and technicians to meet cost and schedule needs

Coordination of staffing needs

Continuous Improvement of facility processes and procedures

Maintenance of tiered escalation meetings

Definition and execution of program-specific automation and augmented reality needs

Prioritization of program specific SQDCM and PCAB activities

Interface with lower-level assemblies with respect to shared resources and delivery scheduling

Coordination of Processor Test Failure Investigations with Engineering & Test Teams

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years or a master's degree with 3+ years of experience; a PhD +0 years of experience supporting Government proposals, contracts, and/or project management.

Must be willing to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance, and SCI approval/access.

Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements.

Performs complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment.

Plan schedules and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives.

The ability to recognize and respond to executive and customer goals to rapidly develop outcomes supporting sector objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

An active TS/SCI is highly preferred.

Experience as a lead or manager positions is highly preferred.

Experience with the factory execution of a production program.

Experience in a leadership position on government programs over $10M.

Experience with earned value management and capture management.

Experience with geographically diverse program teams.

Salary Range: $124,000.00 - $186,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
