We are looking for you to join our team as a Procurement Manager 2. While this position is based out of Sunnyvale, CA, the selected candidate may work remotely from any continental US location.
The Procurement Manager will provide leadership and oversight of a dynamic team of procurement professionals procuring commodity aligned hardware and software for the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. This position is located in Sunnyvale, CA and is a hybrid position with the opportunity for full-time telework to considered. This person will have supervisory responsibility for a team of Supply Chain Procurement Specialists.
Essential Functions include:

Sourcing and purchasing machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.
Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
Compile information to stay informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
Confers with suppliers to analyze supplier operations, and to determine factors that affect price, the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and the ability to meet required schedules.
Review proposals, negotiates prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders placed, verify delivery, ensure on time invoice payment, as well as maintaining necessary records.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Review of active procurement requirements and status
Developing, training, and mentoring buying professionals
Development of negotiation strategies and plans
Review and approval of purchase order compliance
Communication within GSC, division, program and business areas of procurement status and issues
Appropriately assessing risk to supply chain and ability to brief programs.
Identification and communication of items needed from other functional areas in support of issuance of a purchase order.
Review and approval of supplier agreements (i.e., Teaming Agreements, Long Term Pricing Agreements, Terms and Conditions Negotiations
The ideal candidate will possess highly effective interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others. They will demonstrate leadership ability with the skills to influence others, interact successfully with peers, and with all levels of management in the organization and have excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant Supply Chain experience, or Master's Degree with 6 or more years of relevant experience (An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Procurement and compliance experience.
3 or more years of team/project lead experience or management of people experience
Experience with MS Office Suite and SAP.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
US Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree
Experience managing procurement, business management, or operations teams.
Experience with of SAP, FAR/DFAR (experience in Commercial Item Determinations a plus), NG Command Media, and metric analysis
* Experience managing performance of the portfolio, ensuring compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations.
Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
