Contracts Manager - Manager Level 2 (Mid-Level Manager), located in Dulles, VA you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This role is to supervise a team of three (3) direct reports and directly supporting a portfolio in the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Operating Unit.
Our Contracts Manager will be responsible for leading, strategizing and conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiations and administration and customer contact activities. You will ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements.

Review, negotiate, manage and closeout the contract process
* Provide advice and counsel to senior leadership on contractual risks and obligations along with interpreting terms and conditions
* Oversee strategy, coordination, pricing, approval, submittal and negotiation of proposals
* Other duties as assigned

Your Expertise - Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 6+ years of professional experience
* Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
* Leadership experience
* Government contracting experience that includes FAR/DFAR
* Experience with MS Office Suite
* Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access

About Tactical Space Systems: Leading designer, producer and supplier of spacecraft components that power and enable satellites of all classes. The premier source for mission-enabling, space-qualified deployable booms, masts and backing structures.
About Business Management: Integrates sector financial/business strategies, overseeing accounting, contracts, pricing, compliance, and asset management.
Salary Range: *$129,300 - $193,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
