The Mission Systems (MS) sector's Global Supply Chain Strategy and Strategic Sourcing organization is looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager to manage Supply Chain Risk and Strategic Supplier Relationships.

The candidate will lead the sector Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) framework, all macro level risk based communications including quarterly reports, and Enterprise and cross-sector engagement such as broad mitigation efforts. The manager will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and mitigating macro level risks and collaborating cross-functionally for the best possible outcome. As a core element of SCRM, the candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities and developing solutions to improve Supply Chain resiliency, which may include, but are not limited to, sourcing support for high risk single source technology areas, improving processes and creating guides to fill resiliency gaps, and evolving core SCRM activities to align to everchanging market conditions.
For Strategic Supplier Relationship Management, the candidate will develop best practices for and run MS's Strategic Supplier program. The candidate will build upon and expand a core process to impart value to both MS and its Strategic Suppliers. In addition, the candidate would be responsible for managing executed Strategic Agreements to ensure MS contractual benefits are being realized and obligations are being met. This will involve developing repeatable and transferrable processes around such core elements including, but not limited to, forecast sharing, executive level engagements, and supplier capacity measurement and sharing.
In addition to the above, the Manager will also collaborate and develop supply chain optimization strategies such as those around affordability.
As a manager, the position will have employees reporting directly to them; which entails day to day direction and oversight of the employees work product and individual career development needs. The successful candidate will hold strong leadership skills, excellent oral and written skills, and an aptitude for DoD contracting requirements. This position is a hybrid role, working out of our Linthicum, MD facility, and may require some travel.
What You'll Get To Do:
• Facilitate and lead a Supply Chain Risk Management framework, including risk reporting and resiliency development
• Collaborate and utilize data to support sourcing strategies
• Manage a portfolio of Strategic Agreements and ensure MS is realizing the benefits of those agreements
• Develop and manage the Strategic Supplier program as defined by the Supplier Performance Management Process
• Demonstrate success/problem solving skills in supply chain strategy, risk governance, and relationship management
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, or other closely related field, 6+ years of experience with an MBA, Masters, or equivalent degree.
* Must have a minimum of 3+ years experience in a team leadership/people management role
* US Citizenship
* Professional Experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Experience in US Government supply chain
* Demonstrable experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Northrop Grumman supply chain and key suppliers
• Experience with supplier relationship management
• Experience with Northrop Grumman Mission Systems core technology areas

Salary Range: $123,400 - $185,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
