This position falls under one of Northrop Grumman's Strategic Business Units, Sonoma Photonics, Inc. and will be located onsite in Santa Rosa, CA.

Essential Functions:
The selected candidate must be able to understand and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists and be able to independently support and collaborate with other logistics disciplines to resolve physical logistics configuration issues related to part, maintenance, and spares applications. This role requires familiarity with Logistics Support Analysis Report (LSAR) databases and industry standard software tools (MS Access, Excel, and SharePoint). This role will primarily develop and maintain the Provisioning documentation to support Thin Film deposition (structural, electrical, mechanical, etc.).

Analyzes technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements.

Prepare gap analysis for spare parts

Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.

Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories.

Manage and controls Order-Portal and Wait Part Tracker

Responsible for working with other planners, engineers, and program representatives to forecast material costs.

Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products.

Communicate with suppliers for lead times, and delivery times.

Actively resolves and communicates and works to resolve issues

Receives/reviews requirements for standard and non-standard parts

Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications for Logistics Planner:

Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 years' relevant logistics experience (Provisioning, Logistics Engineering, Logistics Support Analysis, and/or Technical Writing) or Master's Degree with 1 year's relevant logistics experience (Provisioning, Logistics Engineering, Logistics Support Analysis, and/or Technical Writing)

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance as required per business needs

Basic Qualifications for Principal Logistics Planner:

Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years' relevant logistics experience (Provisioning, Logistics Engineering, Logistics Support Analysis, and/or Technical Writing)or Master's Degree with a minimum 4 year's relevant logistics experience (Provisioning, Logistics Engineering, Logistics Support Analysis, and/or Technical Writing)

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance as required per business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience developing and maintaining Provisioning documentation

Understanding of provisioning standards (GEIA-STD-0007 and S2000M)

Active DoD Secret Clearance

* Familiarity with Project Management processes and procedures

Salary Range: $67,100.00 - $100,700.00Salary Range 2: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
