The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking a Large-Scale Staff Systems Engineering Integration & Test Lead to join our team and develop these technologies into high-performance computing systems that solve an assortment of unique mission needs. You'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead teams of Engineers (systems, software, hardware) through the planning and execution of major program milestones / reviews (e.g., SCR, SRR, PDR, CDR, etc).
* Responsible for system engineering work products including subsystem integration into the larger systems.
* Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
Ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across multi-functional teams to develop innovative solutions
* Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
* Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle.
* Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
* Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
* Coordinate between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), with 14+ years of experience in superconducting materials integration and test.
* Experience facilitating internal and customer collaboration to capture and enhance engineering artifacts
* Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, Focus on SCR to CDR.
* Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test.
* Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification.
* Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering language SysML.
* Risk and Opportunity Management experience.
* Experience leading technical teams.
* Candidates must be a US Citizen
* Active US DOD TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields
* Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the development of complex systems of systems.
* Experience working with CAMEO or other similar MBSE management tools.
* Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF).
* Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally.
* Experience managing contracts of $50M+.
* Demonstrated Experience working with CAMEO
* Experience with Earned Value Management

Salary Range: *$174,800 - $262,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
