The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking an experienced IT Project Management professional to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems support team in Palmdale, CA. Some travel to support sites may be required.
Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Report to the Program Integration Team (PIT), supporting IT (Information Technology) Operations, and oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects.

Review status of projects, manage project schedules, prepare status reports, and work with team leads to ensure accountability on key project deliverables.

Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with stakeholders, including internal and external customers.

Gather requirements and works across multiple teams to support program Statement of Work.

This position may filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

Associate's degree and 7 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree.

Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered

Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment

Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project) and Agile principles including use of associated tools such as Jira and Confluence

Experience utilizing of Project Management principles

Experience with IT Systems

Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree.

Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment

Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project) and Agile principles including use of associated tools such as Jira and Confluence

Experience utilizing of Project Management principles

Experience with IT Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Active TS/SCI, or SAP/SAR access

Project integration experience in a production/manufacturing environment, including strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well with cross-functional groups and senior leadership

Project management credentials such as PMP, Project+

IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+

SharePoint experience

Able to learn new processes and technical information quickly

Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00Salary Range 2: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
