Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as an Industrial Security Analyst / Principal Industrial Analyst based out of Dayton, Ohio.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems.
* Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is included including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide to briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team.
* Maintain accountability of classified material or classified media as required by contract(s).
* Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities.
* Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
* Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.
* Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.
Industrial Security Analyst Basic Qualifications:
2 years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelors Degree; 0 years with a Masters; OR an additional 4 years of Industrial Security related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* Must be a US Citizen
* Must have Active Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access.
* Must have the ability to work 1st Shift and 9/80 schedule.
* Ability to sit for extended periods, relay and receive information, climb ladders, and collaborate in a team environment.
Principal Industrial Security Analyst Basic Qualifications:
5 years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelors Degree; 3 years with a Masters; 1 year with a PhD OR an additional 4 years of Industrial Security related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* Must be a US Citizen
* Must have Active Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access.
* Must have the ability to work 1st Shift and 9/80 schedule.
* Ability to sit for extended periods, relay and receive information, climb ladders, and collaborate in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
* Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar data bases.
* Working knowledge of DoD, SAP, and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance.
* Additional consideration for CDSE SAP Orientation course or CDSE SAP Mid-Level course.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Crisis Management and Emergency Management experience
* Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
* Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
* Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications.
* Computer and desktop office software products experience.
* Classification review experience
Salary Range: $67,200 - $100,800
Salary Range 2: *$82,900 - $124,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
