The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). This is a full-time position in support of the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division.

What You'll Get to Do
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Supporting a fast-paced, high-profile, program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
Conduct security audits
Assist with Media Issuance, Accountability, and Destruction
Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility
Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on action(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program
Submit, review, and verify Visit Requests through queries to government security databases and systems
Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements
Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures
Maintain access control, including UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS)
Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance
Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG)

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications

Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
2 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree, or 0 years of relevant experience with a master's degree. 4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Must have administrative, security education, inventory, risk management, security compliance, or other security-related experience
Experience working with classified
Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals
Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs)
Experience with SLOPACS, DISS, NISS, Lenel, or other related security systems
Organized and efficient at time management
Must be detail-oriented, have meticulous record-keeping, and will be responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
Strong attention to detail
Self-started with minimal supervision
Experience with government compliance inspections
Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
