This is a 1st shift position, but it will require the ability to work some flexible hours, occasional overtime, alternate scheduling and weekends as needed to support the operation.

The position reports to the Aviation Maintenance Manager. Primary duties will include complete oversight of regulatory compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturers' inspection and maintenance programs, and Department and Company policy. Perform tasks assigned by They will assist in providing daily personnel work assignments as well as guide, mentor, and provides on-the-job instruction or training to the assigned group in related technical information job procedures, safety and general shop and hangar practices. This position will work alongside fellow technicians at NGAD repair stations performing recovery & postflight/preflight inspection duties, scheduled & unscheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's technical specifications and Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
Flight Technicians are responsible for flying on corporate aircraft during domestic and international travel, they will provide technical expertise during in-flight and AOG situations along with tending to the comfort and safety needs of passengers to include serving food and beverages. While conducting appropriate cabin management practices, the Flight Technician will have a solid understanding of on-board communication systems to include internet, and Iridium phone systems. In conjunction with Flight Technician duties, they will perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, and launch/recovery support.
The Flight Technician/Aircraft Mechanic will be a dynamic role to ensure the utmost quality criteria of company aircraft as described below, but not limited to:
Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections, engine runs and taxi operations that conform to the standards established by the Company, regulations, and industry best practices
Availability to work nights, weekends, or flexible hours as determined by flight schedule (24/7 Operation)
Ability to optimize aircraft dispatch reliability and operational availability during domestic and international travel
Act as passenger service provider and safety coordinator. Requires successful completion of training in evacuation procedures, medical aid, passenger service, and food handling procedures
Ensure cabin configuration and associated management functions are performed in accordance with Departmental policies and procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of all onboard passenger service equipment, to include SATCOM, AIRCELL, KU / KA WIFI and Airshow systems and applications
Oversee that work performed by contract maintenance facilities is accomplished and properly documented in accordance with FAA and department requirements
Provide active participation in the Department Safety Management System (SMS) and involvement in obtaining bi-annual certification through IS-BAO (International Standard- Business Aircraft Operations)
Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory, including receiving
Troubleshoot complex technical issues in time-sensitive situations
Have thorough understanding of avionics/electrical/computer systems
Provide a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills with effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Proficiency with the use of technology and computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office and related business applications i.e. CMP/CAMP
Pursue on-going technical training and remain cognizant of industry advancements through conferences and seminars
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience including Gulfstream G550 Experience
FAA Airframe and Power plant certificate required
This is a Flight Technician role and requires the ability to meet all requirements to maintain flying duties to hold position
Must have own tools necessary for the position
Ability to occasionally lift 60 lbs.
Ability to occasionally work at heights at or about 20 feet (with proper fall protection)
State Issued Driver's License
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport
Eligibility to secure and maintain airport issued security badge
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience including Gulfstream G550 Experience
FAA Airframe and Power plant certificate required
This is a Flight Technician role and requires the ability to meet all requirements to maintain flying duties to hold position
Must have own tools necessary for the position
Ability to occasionally lift 60 lbs.
Ability to occasionally work at heights at or about 20 feet (with proper fall protection)

Salary Range: $64,600.00 - $107,600.00Salary Range 2: $76,800.00 - $128,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
