Driver Heavy Vehicles 2/3 to join our Aerospace Systems at the CLEARFIELD, UT facility.

This position will operate vehicles and equipment to safely conduct the transportation of tooling, material, and hardware between on plant locations as well as off plant vendors. These vehicles and equipment will include but are not limited to the following.

Vehicles up to 26,001lbs GVWR
* Vehicles with a 10,001lbs GVWR or greater
* Passenger truck and trailer combinations / configurations.
* Vans
* Forklift
Position Summary:

Safety First, Quality Always. The Clearfield Transportation Team drives a culture of safety being the most important accomplishment while delivering first pass quality.
* This position is for our Clearfield site as part of the Transportation Team supporting various programs.
Accountable for all aspects of safe vehicle and equipment operations supporting the transportation of company and government owned assets.
* Responsible for proper load securement in accordance with DOT, FMCSA, and Company Regulations.
* Responsible for the organization of loads to maximize efficiency of deliveries and pickups.

Basic Qualifications:
Heavy Driver Level 2:

High School Diploma and a minimum of two years heavy driving experience.
* Must have a current Class A CDL with the ability to obtain applicable endorsements, such as Haz-Mat.
* Shall provide a current MVR with zero moving violations in the past year.
* Must meet all DOT pre-employment requirements.
* Active Secret DoD clearance
* Ability to obtain special program access PAR
Heavy Driver Level 3:

High School Diploma and a minimum of four years heavy driving experience.
* Must have a current Class A CDL with the ability to obtain applicable endorsements, such as Haz-Mat.
* Shall provide a current MVR with zero moving violations in the past year.
* Must meet all DOT pre-employment requirements.
* Active Secret DoD clearance
* Ability to obtain special program access PAR
Preferred Requirements:

Eight plus years heavy driving experience
* Vehicles with a 26,001 GVWR or its equivalent in on-the-job training either as a medium equipment or forklift operator.
* Knowledge of FMCSA, FMSR, and 49 CFR regulations
* Familiar with Driver's Vehicle Inspection Reports
* A current Class A CDL with endorsements including but not limited to the following, Haz-Mat, Passenger
* Aerospace driving experience
* Oversize load experience
* Pilot / Escort vehicle experience
* Current Pilot / Escort License
* Functional with basic computer functions including Word, and ability to operate mobile devices (iPad).
* Must possess the ability to read in-plant handling manual instructions including special tie-down arrangements for general and special safety equipment.
Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,300
Salary Range 2: *$55,800 - $93,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
