This individual will be responsible for leading and executing the Company's Privacy strategy and execution globally across the enterprise. The position will reside in Falls Church, VA, and report to the Global Chief Information Security Officer.

The Corporate Privacy Executive will leverage and coordinate current processes and efforts in partnership with and in support of Corporate Sector-Level leadership to implement and maintain the global Privacy program and a holistic integration with cybersecurity for consistent provision of data protection and security worldwide.
Specific responsibilities include:
Lead the Global Privacy team within the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer
* Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures globally relating to privacy compliance and information management risk. Execute the Privacy governance strategies on behalf of the corporation.
* Take a leading role in cybersecurity incident response processes that may involve personal data
* Partner closely with Law, Compliance and Security
* Provide consultative support to the business on initiatives involving the collection, use and disclosure of personal information globally
* Drive privacy initiatives through education and awareness training and development of privacy impact assessments
* Enable evaluation of enterprise tools for global privacy compliance in partnership with NG stakeholders across the Enterprise and Sectors
* Globally represent Global Privacy team and initiatives and engage with the NG stakeholders
* Manage data privacy risk, and anticipate, inform and shape the Company's response to key relevant external developments
* Engage with global data governance, responsible technology and all areas where personal information may be involved
* Ensure NG global compliance with all privacy regulations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 10 years of privacy, data, or information management or security related experience, with experience in global implementation issues. Appropriate equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
* Effective experience managing, designing and executing compliance policies, programs, and procedures for a comparable sized, complex global organization
* Strong knowledge of U.S. and global privacy laws and practices, preferable a technology sector
* Ability to understand application architecture, software development and common software platforms (e.g. web services).
* Demonstrated abilities mitigating risk and maintaining compliance while also enabling transformative growth in a large organization
* Ability to lead and influence without direct authority
* Experience with an internal audit function
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion across a globally integrated enterprise.
* A flexible approach to work, an understanding of working collaboratively on a team, and the willingness to be an active and supportive member of a team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to senior executive leadership and working groups, mentoring, and developing talent.
* Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree - International Affairs or other appropriate discipline
* Juris Doctor - Law
* Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and or other appropriate certifications
* Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and responsible technology implementation
* Experience leading a global privacy program
* Experience in the Aerospace and defense industry
* Experience with internet and mobile industry operations, technologies and practices used to collect, store, access, transmit, and retain data.
* Demonstrated history of influencing and driving change within teams and across an organization.
Salary Range: $213,700 - $320,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
