This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division based at our facility in Promontory, UT and requires on-plant and in-person activities.

Role Description & Responsibilities:
The tour coordinator will be responsible for hosting, scheduling, and conducting on-plant tours and customer training events at our three Utah facilities. The candidate will be working with a mix of private industry customers, military representatives, NASA personnel, and other government officials who interact and do business with Northrop Grumman. The position will also have responsibilities related to new hire campus tours at all three Utah locations.
This position will be based at the Promontory facility in Promontory, but travel to the Clearfield and Bacchus (Magna) may be required to support tours and training events.
A successful tour coordinator must have a background that includes experience planning large, complex group events. The position requires coordination with speakers and trainers for events, scheduling conference rooms for all event activities, working closely with representatives in production facilities to arrange tour times and access, arranging in-house catering needs, obtaining security approvals from Security and close interaction with Security to ensure guest access request have been properly handled, arranging on-plant transportation, and working all other details associated with hosting a large group.
Candidates are expected to be able to present in front of a group and effectively communicate with the audience. Training events will primarily be for customers and government personnel but supporting training of internal employees may be needed on occasion. Some of the training responsibilities would be scheduling rooms, coordinating with trainers, presenting the training material to the audience, and updating existing PowerPoint presentations.
Some transportation needs will be handled by the tour coordinator, which will require a Class B CDL. A candidate must either have a current CDL or have the ability to obtain a CDL in the first 3-6 months of employment.

This position may be filled at either a level 03 or level 04.
Basic Qualifications for a level 03
Education Requirements
A high school diploma or GED plus a minimum of nine (9) years directly relevant experience. Relevant experience is defined as working as the lead planner/coordinator for large, complex events.
Minimum Requirements
Experience with organizing, directing, and coordinating large, complex group events
* The ability to be working on several different events and projects simultaneously
* Strong organization and planning skills
* Strong communication skills using multiple methods (phone, text, email)
* Attention to detail
* Respectful while working with multiple people from different customer and government agencies but confident enough to enforce Northrop Grumman safety standards during tours
* The ability to obtain a Class B CDL to drive company busses on public roads
Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of Propulsion System locations and processes
* Prior training experience
* Strong MS Office skills

Salary Range: $78,700 - $118,100
Salary Range 2: $98,100 - $147,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
