Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a
Configuration Analyst in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) in our Colorado Springs, CO office.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Strong communication and organizational skills
* Support requirements management planning, including process definition, implementation, and improvements
* Implement new requirements management processes, and act as the technical baseline Owner and Administrator for the DOORS database of requirements
* Maintain a management process for requirements baselines and support to engineering change control (ERB/CCB)
* Produce new requirements management process documentation as required
* Prepare documents for archival and maintain archived records as required
* Support technical writing of engineering documentation for CDRL and DAL deliveries on program
* Manage the storage and processes for officially updating our documentation and data libraries
* Interfacing well with program management, team members, and the customer in communication of the requirements technical baseline
* Transfer of requirements artifacts between environments
* Audits of requirements artifacts supporting program needs
* Controlling requirements baselines
This requisition can either be filled as a Configuration Analyst (Level 2) or Principal Configuration Analyst (Level 3) depending on the candidate's experience as laid out in the basic qualifications detailed below as well as the interview assessment.
Basic Qualifications:

Configuration Analyst: Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience, OR Master's Degree with 0 years of experience

Principal Configuration Analyst: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related experience, OR Master's Degree with 3 years of related of experience, OR PhD with 1 year of related experience
*
Active Secret clearance at the time of application
* Familiarity with IBM DOORS
* Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, etc)
* Expertise with SharePoint
* Expertise with MS Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
* Experience creating and documenting workflow processes for engineering support

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with technical writing for specifications and technical baseline doc

* Familiarity with Radar Systems and Operations

* Familiarity with MBSE Modeling (Cameo Enterprise Architecture)

* Familiarity with MPLM tools (Teamcenter)

* Familiarity in Agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)

Salary Range: $67,200 - $100,800
Salary Range 2: $82,900 - $124,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
