Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force's existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies to support Humanitarian Disaster Relief and crisis response in Australia and nearby regions.
Are you ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and high-impact program? We are looking for a C-27J Program Support Manager to join our team in Richmond, NSW. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence.
Your Role:
As the C-27J Program Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating essential program functions, including:
• Contracts and sub-contracts
• Information technology and security
• International trade compliance
• Quality and mission assurance
• Environmental health and safety
• People and culture
• Facilities and business administration
Working closely with the Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional collaboration, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the execution of key program milestones.
About you: *
• Leadership experience in program management, business operations, or a related field.
• Strong skills in contracting, financial management, and risk analysis, ideally in aviation or defence.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to drive efficiencies and optimise program performance.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different functions.
• Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Although not essential, Tertiary qualifications in project management, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Eligibility for an NV1 Defence security clearance.
