Associate Electronics Engineer - Hardware Networks OR Electronics Engineer - Hardware Networks to our team in Rancho Bernando, CA. This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. This position requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
The selected candidate will assist with network design documentation, installation, and troubleshooting.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Network configuration file management
* Generate/release network diagrams
* Generate/release network configuration guides & network config files
* Support troubleshooting & issue resolution
* Provide documentation for network changes
* Install/configure/troubleshoot network devices at a variety of locations
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
This position can be filled at either the Associate Electronics Engineer level or Electronics Engineer level, depending upon the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications for Associate Electronics Engineer - Hardware Networks:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 0 years of relevant engineering experience.
* Experience in or knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python
* Working knowledge of routing & switching concepts and protocols
* Some familiarity with network simulation tools and load testing (e.g. CML, GNS3)
*
Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ Certificate with CE or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M. This certificate must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Active in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearance.
* Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 2 years of relevant engineering experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of relevant engineering experience.
* Experience in or knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python
* Working knowledge of routing & switching concepts and protocols
* Some familiarity with network simulation tools and load testing (e.g. CML, GNS3)
* Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ Certificate with CE or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M. This certificate must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
* Active in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearance.
* Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification
* Experience deploying, configuring, and hardening Network Devices
* Familiar with Spine and Leaf architecture
* Familiar with Agile methodology
* Familiar with version control, GIT experience preferred
* Ability to author and maintain technical installation, configuration, and update documentation
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
* Current Special Program Access
Salary Range: $74,000 - $111,000
Salary Range 2: *$89,400 - $134,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
