Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and talented entry level Associate Electrical Engineer/Electrical Engineer (Level 1 & Level 2) to join our team within the Tactical Space organization. This role offers the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge projects in support of human space exploration, national defense, and scientific discovery. Associate Electrical Engineer/Electrical Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Dulles, VA.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
Assist in the design and development of analog and power circuits for space applications.
Participate in the creation of schematics and selection of components under the guidance of senior engineers.
Support the development of electronic circuits for spacecraft applications, including power converters and housekeeping circuitry.

Simulation and Analysis:
Perform basic simulations to verify the performance of analog and power circuits.
Conduct introductory electrical and thermal analysis to ensure designs meet specifications.

Prototyping and Testing:
Collaborate with the prototype shop to build and validate design concepts.
Assist in the development and execution of test plans.
Support failure analysis and trouble-shooting activities during testing phases.

Documentation and Collaboration:
Prepare design documentation, including schematics and test procedures.
Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and project managers to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Document acceptance criteria and test results for review.

Basic Qualifications for Associate Electrical Engineer:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Fundamental understanding of analog, digital and power circuit design principles.
Basic knowledge of simulation tools (such as LTspice).
Familiarity with electrical components and circuit analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher
Basic Qualifications for Electrical Engineer:

74,000 - 111,000
Pay Range for Engineer Electrical in Dulles, VA:
89,400 - 134,200
