This position will be located at our Aeronautics Sector at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's F-35 Sustainment and Operations Team.
The selected candidate will:
Become a key member of an integrated industry and government joint team to perform F-35 Operations support, data analysis, data presentation, and decision solutions to maintain overall F-35 fleet operational sustainment.
* Collaborate as part of a broader multi-disciplinary F-35 Sustainment team which includes F-35 Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Sustainment Performance Management, Field Operations, Support Equipment, Training, and others as needed to support the F-35 customer mission, capability and sustainment requirements.
* Contribute to innovative solutions for improving overall F-35 Fleet Aircraft Availability and Mission Capability rates of the growing F-35 Fleet and customers through tactical day to day team and customer engagement and effective communication.
* Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
* Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
* Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
* Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Systems Engineer level (T01) or a Systems Engineer level (T02).
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Systems Engineer (T01):
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
* Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
* Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution or is completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and has 2 years of related systems engineering experience.
* Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
* Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.
Preferred Qualifications for both an Associate Systems Engineer (T01) & Systems Engineer (T02):
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
* Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
* Experience working with database systems and software tools Python, HTML, SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
* Experience with extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) of data to and from data sources, statistical data analysis, data mining, and data presentation using supporting tools such as Python, R Programming, HTML, Tableau and Excel.
* Experience with statistical data modeling and analysis tools (Python, SQL, Tableau, R Programming, Canva Visual Suite, QGIS
Pay Range:
Associate Systems Engineer (T01): $67,300 - $100,900
* Systems Engineer (T02): $81,300 - $121,900
