WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a Sr. Principal to join our Global Process Owner (GPO) team for Record to Report (R2R). As we continue on the transformation journey for our Controlling function, this role will be responsible for partnering with technology and business teams to execute the technology components of process optimization initiatives for Record-to-Report. You will embrace and lead change through continued standardization and optimization of business processes, striving for global consistency and developing standards. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you will serve as the Technology Enablement expert within the service excellence organization. You will lead cross-functional teams to define and design optimal business processes, including the associated policies, controls, reporting, and SOPs while ensuring that Technology Enablement plans and investments drive value for the organization.

  • Maintain an understanding of business outcomes to ensure technology solutions meet business objectives and translate technical requirements to Managed Service Provider (MSP) and business teams accordingly
  • Partner with the Finance Transformation Management Office (FTMO) to ensure global technology solutions provide the right level of capacity to execute transformation initiatives, identifying gaps and sharing findings as necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex concepts and push for swift execution of technology strategies
  • Cultivate strong advisory relationships, navigate decision-making mechanisms, and build consensus to accelerate strategic initiatives
  • Lead as a proactive thought leader, staying abreast of the latest technology trends and maintaining technical credibility

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, GPO for R2R you will be collaborating cross-functionally with various NIKE teams (including Technology, FTMO, and other functional GPO and business teams that support Global Controlling) in defining and implementing globally standard business processes leveraging leading technology. You will also partner with our MSP to identify and implement innovative technology solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in Public Accounting, Corporate Accounting and/or Technology Enablement
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and managing multiple, competing priorities and requests, while maintaining high standards for quality and attention to detail
  • Consistent track record in developing high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers
  • Strong leadership ability and understanding/application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as change management, idea creation, and cross-team effectiveness
