We are in search of a Specialist Stores Marketing to join our Jordan brand team in EMEA. The ideal candidate has a true passion for sports, physical retail and is digitally savvy. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • As a Specialist Stores Marketing for the Jordan brand, you will own the end-to-end execution of the seasonal storytelling as well as the 365 initiatives across Direct stores
  • You will own the stores marketing part of new store openings, ensuring the Jordan retail destination strategy is implemented in partnership with Visual Merchandising
  • You will work closely with the operational functions to ensure launch readiness and will own the learning agendas across all Direct stores marketing initiatives
  • You will own the collaboration with NAX and EKIN teams and be responsible to gather input to inform briefs

All roles in our organization, while generally specific in functional or Field of Play connectivity, will need to be agile to some extent. This will ensure that in an ever-changing landscape, and with a Concept Map that sometimes focuses more deeply on one area of the Brand & Business, that we always have enough resource to ensure pinnacle execution of our most key priorities.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As a Jordan Specialist Stores Marketing, you will report directly into the EMEA Jordan Direct stores marketing director. You will work fluidly across the Jordan Marketing team but will also work cross-functionally within Jordan EMEA Marketing key partners such as, Digital marketing, Partner marketing and Field of Play brand management. You will also work closely with the NAX/Ekin, Merchandising and Planning teams.

WHAT YOU BRING
A successful candidate will be expected to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience of the below essential requirements to be considered. Candidates that meet these criteria will then be assessed based on the competencies also outlined below.

Essential Requirements

  • Prior extensive experience in Stores marketing roles for physical retail with an EMEA scope
  • Proven track record of successful end-to-end execution of seasonal storytelling/365 initiatives
  • Ability to clearly prove successful project management experience is critical
  • Proven experience identifying and managing external relationships with individuals including but not limited to agencies and retail franchise partners
  • Must be able to demonstrate deep understanding of Visual Merchandising principles and how this fuels the Stores marketing strategies and executions
  • Must be able to demonstrate how to work independently and proactively and have experience working in a matrix organization

  • Understanding the unique history and heritage of the Jordan Brand and its impact on basketball culture.
  • Demonstrate an authentic connection and/or understanding to the Jordan Field of plays (Energy. Streetwear and Sport (Basketball) communities in Milan.
  • Demonstrate ability to build brand awareness, brand affinity, and brand strength in a global city, preferably Milan.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and authentically connect a brand to a local community of athletes, influencers, and catalysts both digitally and physically.

This role will be posted until the 2nd of October 2024. After that, we will share feedback to all applications and move forward with the shortlisted ones.

This role is not available for relocation.
