WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
The Specialist II, Merchandising Information Operations will be part of the EMEA Merchandising Operations team which is part of the wider EMEA Consumer x Marketplace Operations team, reporting to a Merchandising Information Manager. You will be in close contact with the Consumer merchandising team for the relevant /assigned segment. Daily you will collaborate with cross functional teams like supply chain, DSM, Pricing, Nike Direct and PGTC.

The candidate needs to have the following functional competencies:
Communication: A mix of communication skills is required to move co-workers to action. Influences ways of working and maintain a sound collaboration. The person is not afraid to speak up while at the same time receive, interpret directions efficiently.
Operations: A blend of analytical skills, natural system interest, data flow and end to end process focus is required to validate data and align between consumer segments. The person needs a high systems affinity & the ability to elevate our current data information sharing platforms to the next level. Having experience with Tableau is a big plus.
Team: Strong teammate with a positive attitude who supports peers and prioritizes team success. Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with upstream & downstream functions with energy. Proactively approach self-development seeking and acting on feedback from peers & leaders
- High level Operational execution skills and attention to detail having a helicopter mindset.
- Process management skills & experience.
- Influencing skills to drive processes with corresponding dates and gates X-functional.
- The proven ability and eagerness to learn new systems and platforms.
- Ability to validate data, own data management and communicate to a broader audience.
- Tableau and Airtable knowledge are a plus.
- Language: Fluent English. Both written and spoken.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
As a Merchandise information specialist, you will:
- Ensure Merchandisers work in the most effective and efficient ways by demonstrating co-ownership of driving seasonal dates & gates, lead process execution, drive data accuracy and have an innovative mindset within the consumer and operations team.
- Proactively communicate, ensure X-functional alignment and mutual understanding around key strategic initiatives processes: i.e. Launch & Release, Consumer Flow, Key Looks, Must Buy List, EPOD, Minimum exceptions and samples.
- Manage, drive and execute the directed Global / Geo line plan adoption with an end-to-end vision and maintain product attributes in all relevant merchandising owned system and tools (for example MMX and AV).
- Lead, drive and own Merchandising data consistency within the merchandising system landscape (and related downstream systems) to make sure data is complete, on-time, and accurate.
- Provide merchandising relevant trainings to Merchandising team regarding tools / systems, calendar management as well as on processes.
- Engage as a subject matter specialist in the preparation and implementation of any future system/tool functionality and support a smooth transition.
- Act as a strong cross functional partner to enable end-to-end process execution, data management on a daily basis within the Merchandising and C X M operations teams.
