The annual base salary for this position ranges from $62,200.00 in our lowest geographic market to $139,200.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike's Global Brand Marketing department is looking for a seasoned Digital Imaging Technician to join the team at its innovative digital imaging studio in Los Angeles, CA. This is a chance to join the team that creates product marketing and brand story telling content seen around the world for all of Nike Inc's brands.
The successful candidate will bring exceptional demonstrated experience in high volume and fast paced imaging studio environments. A passion for photography and video systems and workflow and an interest in influencing process development and improvement across production and creative teams. You will have strong working knowledge of specialized imaging software, macOS, and local network storage solutions along with corporate networking considerations and studio workflow methods. A creative problem solver with an acute attention to detail, a commitment to process improvement, and a comfort with troubleshooting technology issues on the fly.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The Digital Imaging Technician will act as a technical process leader for photo and video shoots in the Icon studios. You will be responsible for the successful application of capture standards and asset management hand off from production to postproduction among the freelance teams in the studio.

You will help build, enhance, and develop processes and solutions across the imaging workflow. Working to find scalable solutions to complex problems.

Develop, document, maintain, and deploy best practices for all aspects of the photography capture workflow.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Your primary, daily interactions will be with the studio team at the Icon imaging studio. You will partner with leads in creative, production, studio operations, and the broader photography department to ensure our processes are optimized for premium quality and massive scale. Daily work will be with all crew members in production including freelance photographers, art directors, stylists, assistants, and other digital technicians to successfully run daily production. You will partner closely with the Lead Digital Technician, Equipment Manager, and Digital Imaging Manager around the operation of the photography department.

WHAT YOU BRING

Expert level knowledge of Capture One Pro and macOS

On-set experience as a Digital Tech both in studio and on-location

Experience with modern DSLR and mirrorless camera systems

Broad knowledge of photography lighting & grip equipment

Color Management standards for capture and color correction

Strong communication written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of Fuji medium format systems, Phase One camera systems and RED video camera systems a plus

Mac based scripting & automation solutions: bash, Applescript, Swift, Javascript

Experience handling a video capture workflow, including knowledge of managing on set color

Enterprise IT desktop solutions and networks

Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools
